The cover was done by first putting a layer or two of gesso. Then I used a light green lumiere paint, and a turqoise neo opaque (by the same people who make lumiere) and i just painted the ousides green, and the insides blue and then blended them together where the met. :O)
I'm an orthadox jew tring to find the bridge between my very missed old life and my new one. Being raised by biker parents, living all over the country, and growing up with no foundation of g-d adds to interesting perspectives on everything. I started this blog out for just saving pics of all the art I send out, not wanting to share anything on the new life I've taking on...now it's time to really make use of it. I started out with art a long time ago, and i've learned everything on my own. Today I would say I'm a mixed media artist, taking this and that and putting it together and calling it art. I really like altered books, altered journals, beads, paints, watercolors, old rusty metal, ATC's art dolls, little 1"x1" art, tags... Judaic art is next...anyone know a good hebrew calligraphy book?? :O)

I know what you mean. It is so great when you LOVE something you created. and it can be hard to part with too.

I have never mailed anything there before.
How did you do the blue and green background? I love how it blends into each other.
