Life is better today :O)
Okay, I feel much better today. Eyes are okay, I'm back to working on my swaps. I've even done a couple today that I think are pretty good!! Check 'em out:
This is a spread I did for a Beatles book. I picked my favorite song, Blackbird, and did an abstract painting.
Here's the tag I made for the book, I added fibers after I scanned it:
And here is a Dance Cd I made for an altered cd swap. It didn't scan very well, I almost don't want to mail this one!! This cd is the one making up for a cd I didn't really mean to send out. I hope she likes it!!
I'm an orthadox jew tring to find the bridge between my very missed old life and my new one. Being raised by biker parents, living all over the country, and growing up with no foundation of g-d adds to interesting perspectives on everything. I started this blog out for just saving pics of all the art I send out, not wanting to share anything on the new life I've taking on...now it's time to really make use of it. I started out with art a long time ago, and i've learned everything on my own. Today I would say I'm a mixed media artist, taking this and that and putting it together and calling it art. I really like altered books, altered journals, beads, paints, watercolors, old rusty metal, ATC's art dolls, little 1"x1" art, tags... Judaic art is next...anyone know a good hebrew calligraphy book?? :O)
